About us

Pigeon Bay Preserves is a family business run by Sue and her daughter Kate. Inspired by Kate’s travels in Morocco, and an interest in Middle Eastern cuisine, the pair began preserving lemons from their Pigeon Bay citrus orchard in 2007. Initially sold at local farmers’ markets, Preserved Lemons are now available in select delis and cafes around Banks Peninsula and Christchurch.
